Located in Magnolia, Texas, 18525 FM 1488 at First Baptist Church, this burial ground has been in use since 1878
when 2 brothers, James A. and William H. Proctor were buried here after they died from malaria just days apart.
Land owners Tom J. Goodson and his wife Winnie May, deeded the property to the Baptist Church, May 3, 1909. Additional land
was donated by their son Lester Goodson in 1845 and by local sawmill owner C. H. Daniel in 1967. Veterans buried here include
our heroes from the Civil War,
World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
